Africa Global Logistics (AGL) recently presented its 2027-2030 strategy for the Autonomous Port of San Pedro, structured around 4 projects intended to strengthen its logistics capacities and its influence. The first project aims to extend the South quay, in order to accommodate larger capacity vessels and increase the operational capacities of the port. The second, a port logistics base, provides nearly 400 linear meters of quays with customs and non-customs spaces, to streamline the transit, handling, storage and distribution of goods in the face of growing flows. 

The third project, the AGL West Logistics Hub, is an integrated platform of 15 to 20 hectares on the San Pedro-Soubré axis, dedicated to western Ivory Coast. According to the Head of AGL San Pedro agency, Dieudonné Gaibai, this infrastructure will capture the flow of goods from western Ivory Coast, Mali and eastern Guinea before their transport to the port. “This platform will notably include warehouses intended to support import and export activities for the benefit of western Ivory Coast as well as the countries of the sub-region served by the Port of San Pedro,” he said. The fourth component, the AGL Cavally Border Base, provides for a logistics base dedicated to mining and oil activities in Tabou, positioning San Pedro as a natural logistics gateway to Liberia and the sub-region. Reacting to this presentation, Pascal Dally underlined that AGL's vision is fully in line with the orientations of the port's development master plan for 2035. He in turn presented the port's structuring projects, inviting AGL to continue discussions to explore mutually beneficial partnerships. broad of AGL, which already planned more than 60 million euros in Ivorian domestic logistics, with hubs in Ferkessédougou, Bouaké and San Pedro. Thus, it confirms the group's desire to consolidate its foothold in the southwest of the country and strengthen the competitiveness of this second national port platform.
