Bank UBAE eyes the Ivorian market
The Minister of Planning and Development, Dr Souleymane Diarrassouba, recently received in Abidjan a delegation from the Italian Bank UBAE led by its President, Othoman Mohamed Alnousri. This meeting marks a concrete interest of the Italian financial institution in the opportunities offered by Côte d'Ivoire. Founded in 1972, Bank UBAE has more than fifty years of expertise in financing international trade, particularly between Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent. His arrival in Côte d'Ivoire is explained by the solidity of the country's macroeconomic framework and its sustained growth trajectory. At the heart of the discussions, the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030, developed under the authority of the President of the Republic H.E Alassane OUATTARA, which provides for 114,838.5 billion CFA francs in investments over five years. Agriculture, industrialization, infrastructure and human capital are among the priority sectors open to international financial partners.
