Regional trade: Ivory Coast, commercial and logistics hub
From July 7 to 9, 2026, the Côte d'Ivoire Export Agency represented the country at the 6th Annual General Assembly of the ECOWAS Network of Trade Promotion Organizations (ROPC), held in Dakar. This meeting brought together the national trade promotion agencies of Member States, alongside the ECOWAS Commission and the International Trade Center. Led by its Director General, Dr Kaladji Fadiga, the Ivorian delegation took part in the work devoted to strengthening coordination between the different trade promotion organizations present in the sub-region. The stated objective is to accelerate the development of West African exports and to promote more dynamic and coherent regional economic integration. These exchanges are part of ECOWAS Vision 2050, which aims to profoundly transform the region's economies. The active participation of Côte d'Ivoire in this type of forum demonstrates its desire to influence community strategic orientations, while consolidating its own positioning as a commercial and logistics hub in West Africa.
