A declaration, a vision and an ambition that resonates like a challenge to an entire continent. “A factory produces goods, but a school produces destinies,” said Abbas Badreddine, president of Plastica Côte d'Ivoire, before French delegates and Ivorian authorities, including the Vice-Governor of the Autonomous District of Abidjan, Claude Danho Paulin. These words essentially sealed the company's entry into a new era, that of specialized professional training. The future training center intends to meet the growing needs of the manufacturing industry by producing qualified technicians and specialists, competitive both on the Ivorian market and internationally.
The approach is part of the logic of industrial development supported by the National Development Plan of Côte d'Ivoire. On the French side, the reception was enthusiastic. Laurent Wauquiez, President of the International Association of French-speaking Regions (AIRF), offered concrete support to the specialized schools of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the leading French plastics region with more than 23,000 employees and 800 companies, for the certification of training and the transfer of skills.
Present in Ivory Coast for 25 years and active in several West African countries, Plastica CI thus confirms that its vocation goes beyond just production. The company wants to train, also build destinies.
